Little did she know the cost of her freedom would be losing her one true love.
Three years after Zack’s death, Liz believes she has finally found her place. She has done her best to pick up the pieces and leave the heartbreak behind. Her life is full of everything she ever dreamed of; friends, family, a home, and happiness. When sinister forces from her past resurface, unsettling truths are discovered.
Liz will be given one last chance to set right an unconscionable wrong. Will she risk all she’s gained to return to where it all began even if it means facing her deepest fears? What if putting everything on the line, including her life, gives her a chance at forever? The choice is hers…

Liz spent her childhood fighting for even the smallest measure of control over her life. Freedom was the dream. Autonomy was the prize. But adulthood reveals something more complicated — that every choice, no matter how hard-won, carries consequence. Sometimes gaining everything you thought you wanted forces you to confront what it cost you to get there.
This final installment allowed me to explore love after loss, healing after devastation, and the bravery it takes to reopen doors you swore you’d never walk through again. When the past resurfaces one final time, Liz must confront not only old enemies, but the woman she has become.
Because true freedom isn’t found in escape. It’s found through choice — fully aware of what you stand to lose, and what you might still gain.
