Yearning for More? Here’s What’s to Come from K.A. Standen

What do love, Death, and corndogs have in common? Me, of course.

Now that Liz’s story in the Sinful Series has wrapped up, I have so many new projects vying for attention. While I would like to eventually go back and write Erin’s story, and possibly one more, the Sinful Series is taking the backburner for now.

My current project, Fuel and Fortune, gives a peek at the spicy side of car clubs, and Kustom Kulture. Take one disillusioned society darling, a stalker ex, and four new friends with more grease under their nails than cash in their wallet and see what quarter mile mayhem ensues. This is some high octane, found family, loyalty-defining action with plenty of sweet moments, and a fair amount of hair pulling. Strap in; this story has more turns than the track at Indianapolis.

Want to know what’s waiting in the wings? How about a BFF murder club (for all the right reasons, of course), a teary concession stand romance about accepting your truth, or a plucky little story about trying to teach a demigod how to be a decent teenage human? If that still doesn’t tick all the boxes for you, I’ve got a "Why Choose?" planned in the future that asks the question: What happens when all the past loves of your life come together in one place and time, and they all want to try again? Does that make you the luckiest girl in the world or just cursed? Guess it depends on how serious those death threats you keep getting are. Because snap! You’re a rockstar with one seriously crazed fan, a tour manager with a scrabble addiction, and a stowaway Pine Marten that won’t take no for an answer. Could life be any more complicated?
